As a Senior Python Developer, you'll work from our Ede office on unique applications for our clients. You'll collaborate with your fellow developers to further develop data-driven platforms.

We are looking for a Senior Python Developer who feels at home in a complex technical environment and gets energy from building scalable, reliable and future-proof solutions.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team working on API services, data processing pipelines, integrations with external automotive partners and a modern cloud landscape.

Your job
You'll be involved in all-round development work, both front-end and back-end. We develop high-quality products that meet the demands, wishes, and needs of our customers. This way, the products are continuously refined and tailored to our target audience. We work according to a scrum methodology. You'll have a lot of say in how something is built and will collaborate closely with your colleagues at PuurData.

You analyze, design, improve, automate, and optimize. You collaborate closely with clients and stakeholders, making you a key link between business and technology.

What are you going to do?

• Design, develop and build Python-based functionality, APIs and data processing for a data-intensive platform based on Clickhouse and Elastic.
• Implementing and testing software.
• Working in a scrum team on high-quality products in the automotive sector.
• Thinking about improvements in the development process and technical implementation.
• Monitoring code quality, testing, CI/CD and documentation.
• Supporting junior colleagues

What are we asking?

• Extensive demonstrable experience in developing applications and services on data-intensive platforms.
• Extensive experience with Python (Kubernetes, Clickhouse and Elastic are a plus)
• Demonstrable expertise in API development
• Experience with data-driven platforms, data modeling and integrations.
• Experience with microservices, front-end frameworks, CI/CD, Python, Kubernetes and the Elastic stack is a plus.
• Experience with Pandas, SQLAlchemy, async-IO, microservices is a plus.
• Good communication skills, you can explain technical choices to customers in an understandable way.
